There will be over 15 dishes to sample, both savoury and sweet as well as at least 6 drinks. There will definitely be enough food for you to be full.
  2. Do I need to be fit for the walk?
No. The walk is at a gentle pace and we cover around 3.5 km over a period of 4 hours. The actual walking time is less than 1.5 hours, but we stop often as we eat and drink along the way.
  3. Can you cater to vegetarians?
Yes. Although some of the traditional dishes are non-vegetarian we do have equally delicious non-meat options. Please do let us know the number of vegetarians in your group when you book.
  4. Can you cater to vegans?
Unfortunately we are not able to cater to a vegan diet on this tour.
  5. What food intolerances can you cater to?

  6. Is this suitable for single travelers?
Absolutely! It’s a great way to meet other people.
Please note that we do not run the tour if only one person is booked on it. If we are unable to find another date that works for you, the full amount of your ticket will be refunded.

  8. Is this tour suitable for children?
The tour is suitable for children from the age of 8. There are games along the way to keep them entertained.
  9. What kind of drinks are included on the walk?
Drinks vary from wine and vermouth to beer and cider. Non-alcoholic options are available also. Costs are the same regardless of which drinks option is chosen.
  10. Where is the meeting point?
In front of Hotel 1898 on Las Ramblas (Address: Rambla de Canaletes, 109) underneath the ornate street lamp on the pedestrian path. Closest metro stations are Catalunya and Liceu.
  11. Where does the tour end?
The tour will end in the Born district of the old town, close to the Barceloneta Metro stop. If you feel like sampling more of the area, we will give you suggestions of our favourite cocktail and wine bars.
  12. Why does the tour start in the afternoon?
The tour starts in the afternoon for a couple of reasons. The first is that most local restaurants do not open all day, so we had to plan our route and timing to ensure we pass to our stops at the ideal time – when they are open and not completely rammed. We will experience some establishments during off-peak times and others when the crowd is starting their night so it will be a nice mix of quiet and busy. The second reason is we wanted the tour to end when you can start your night out, so we will recommend a few cocktail and wine bars so you can continue your night.
  13. When is the cut-off to book?
The tool will allow you to book until midnight the day before the tour. If you are interested in joining a tour with less notice, please call or email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  14. Can I pay in cash on the tour?
Unfortunately the payment needs to be done online through the website.
  15. What should I bring with me?
Wear comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a camera. If rain is forecasted, please bring an umbrella or poncho.
  16. What is your cancellation policy?
Tours are unfortunately non-refundable. In the event of us having to cancel the tour and you are not able to reschedule, your money will be fully refunded.
  17. Do you run regardless of the weather?
Tours run rain or shine. In extreme weather conditions we will reach out to you to reschedule.
  18. When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
Barcelona is great to visit year round. The temperature is moderate in Spring and Autumn and quite warm in the summer. In August most Spaniards take their holidays and many locals leave Barcelona. Some local shops and restaurants close for a few weeks in August. There are tons of events happening year round and we recommend a quick look to see what parades/shows are on during your stay here. 19. Why did you choose Barcelona?
